I'm sorry dude! The above only applies to CRT monitors, not LCD. Possibly OLED and Plasma, but yeah for most current computers, dark or light images do not matter because the LCD screen is lit by the same number of LED lights behind :)

alrite.. i guess i'll have to go back to using less plastic bags and switching off the lights and fans whenever i'm done..
