ok, i know i said my nxt post, which is this post, wld be in chinese. but this post, which is this very post you are reading now, is written in the spur of a moment. and the reason why im blogging at 0555 hr on a friday morn is coz i din sleep the whole of last nite. i waz rushing out my exam papers and i din sleep a single wink. *wink* and the reason why i still have time to write this entry is coz i saw fr the laptop dat it waz 0530 hr, and dats the time i usu wake. so i rushed to pack my stuff and brush teeth and shit and bathe and change, only to realize dat i waz actually earlier than usu. it waz only 0550 hr. so i wore and socks and got ready and decided i might as well blog, since im not going to be able to blog at such a weird time very often. so there.

God is good. He pulled me thru. i muz praise Him more.

well, this is the most un-birthday birthday ive had in recent yrs.

today, i woke up at 5am to go to sch becoz i needed to prepare lessons for my relief teachers, who will be taking over my classes as i had to go down to tiong bahru to mark n levels exam papers today. after preparing everything, as i waz abt to leave, the principal called for all the teachers to remember to sign everything they have ever needed to sign as auditors were gonna come to sch the nxt day. i heard, and i left, trodding all the way to tiong bahru for a full day of non-stop marking.

after marking well over 100 scripts, at 430pm in the afternoon, i headed back for sch, as i had to prepare lessons for the following day, as i waz gonna be absent again due to the wk-long marking. as soon as i stepped into sch, i waz the 'centre of attention'. the admin staff waz asking for my relief materials to be handed in. my dept senior teacher waz asking me to be i/c of something (the nth one ive had since i stepped into my sch..). my cca pple were asking me to help do up the accounts for - yes, you guessed it right - the auditors to come see the nxt day. and i waz left thinking: i shldnt have come back to sch to be an open target.

anyway, we slogged thru a fast-food dinner and some junk food, and piles and piles of invoices and numbers, and before we knew it, it waz 1030pm. we all took off fr the conference rm, and headed home, each having our own agendas - some to concuss, some to watch 'america's nxt top model', while others juz to be with their loved ones.

teacher's day came and went. during the concert perf in my sch, one of the teachers gamely ganged up with his form class to present a hair-raising perf for the whole sch, in full view of the principal and vice-principal. well, basically wat he did waz to act as a rock star, complete with a blonde wig (long hair), leather jacket and pants and tight-fitting singlet. then he lip-synched to the song 'its my life' and his students were juz moving ard on stage - rolling abt, trying to dance and act cool, etc etc.. all in all, it waz a rather interesting perf (at least it made me, and most of the sch, sit up), and its not particularly surprising for this teacher to pull such stunts. i mean, after all, he got the 'most creative (or something along this line) award' the same day.
